Castle Frens

The predecessor of this castle was already mentioned in 1263. During the centuries, the initial medieval keep was rebuilt and extended several time into a castle, the last time in 1850, when the castle received the appearance it has today. The estate is in private hands today, it may be visited only with written permission.
