Kommandeursburg

The present Kommandeursburg, i.e. Commander’s Castle, was built at the entrance to Blatzheim in 1602 by the German Order of Knighthood as a rural residence for the commander of the Teutonic Knights of Cologne. Today the stylish rooms of the Commander’s Castle provide an excellent venue for meetings, family ceremonies and parties.
